Babies born via Csection have higher risk of chronic disease
There seems to be an increased chance of obesity, asthma, and diabetes during childhood. The evidence is discussed in this week’s British Medical journal. The researchers estimated the childhood obesity rate versus those born vaginally. They also compared the asthma rate, and childhood type one diabetes. The experts say that women should only pursue in C-section only if they’re recommended. Other studies suggest that women who have C-section may be less healthy, and so their children might also become less healthy despite how they’re delivered. This study is very limited in information and fact.
