Man plays guitar during brain surgery Last
Last year Roger Frisch played a specially constructed violin throughout his surgery. Surgeons were able to tell when they had placed electrodes at the right point to control the tremors that were interfering with his playing. During an nine hour operation, Anthony Kulkamp Dias was able to play guitar during his brain surgery. “The doctors asked me to repeat one of the country songs so I even had an encore,” Dias told Brazilian site G1 . Dias was aware something was wrong when he started forgetting familiar names and stuttering. The tumor was 90% removed, and the operation was done under local anesthetic.
