Worldwide Increase In Drug Use Over The Past Few Months
one out of 3 adults will use an illegal drug in their lifetime. 3 million people will do so this year in England and Wales. The majority will suffer no long term harm. There are risks that could happen immediately like overdose, intoxication, and long-term health risks associated with major use. Cannabis can also cause damage to the lungs or the bladder from ketamine. Most people will have a period of experimentation or schedule their use according to their lifestyle. Compared to the 3 million, about 300,000 heroin and/or crack addicts and 30,000 were successfully treated for dependency on drugs in England in 2011-12. The use of drugs turns in to addiction vs whether it has to do more with social, personal, and economic reasons is still in question.
