VWR Vortexer
The VWR vortexer sports a heavy-duty design for continuous operation and the capacity to handle up to 2.5 lbs. Users can select between touch mode, which activates the analog vortex mixer when pressure is applied to the top head, or permanent on mode, which activates the head until the user turns it off. Ideal for applications that require repeatable accurate results, this VWR analog vortex mixer has a variable 10-speed analog control that a user can select speeds from 300-2500 rpm. It is important to note that the vortex mixer can reach speeds of 3500 but only in touch mode.
This VWR vortexer has a cup head for tubes; however, there are additional heads to purchase from the manufacturer. The vortex mixer can also utilize a foam insert for thirty-eight 1.5 to 2.0 ml microtubes or a universal holder with a cover.
