Thermo Nanodrop 2000 Spectrophotometer
The Nanodrop 2000 from Thermo Scientific is a compact UV-vis spectrophotometer ideal for sample analysis or preparation. Built for a small volume sample size (0.5 µL – 2.0 µL), this UV-vis spectrophotometer is very straightforward to use; arrange samples directly onto the pedestal, and it will measure in less than 5 seconds. The Nanodrop Spectrophotometer doesn’t require sample dilution, even for highly concentrated (up to 15,000 ng/ µL). The Nanodrop 2000C model can use this spectrophotometer in cuvette mode, which includes stirring and heating up to 37°C.
Because of its broader range, the Thermo Scientific Nanodrop 2000 can also measure very low or very high concentrations. This Nanodrop spectrophotometer also has the full spectral output and preconfigured methods for A260, A280, labeled DNA or Proteins, and more. The UV spectrophotometer features toxicology assays and industrial dyes (490nm). The Thermo Scientific Nanodrop 2000 has gold nanoparticles (520nm) and Colorimetric protein assays (BCA 562nm, Bradford 595nm, Modified Lowry 650nm, and Pierce 660 660nm).
